About D.D.
D.D. Black has such a love for truth & the joy it brings to lives. She understands that every individual who discovers the joy of their authentic rhythm, naturally realizes their own beautiful potential. This love & understanding is evident in her purpose of simply helping individuals to live their truth. These individuals, their marriages & whole family lines are finally healing, truly progressing & simply living freer, fuller lives of joy & beautiful contribution. Something D.D. says, "is truly an honor & privilege to be a part of".
 D.D. first began her training & education years ago in the "traditional" healing arts. She first began early schooling to join the medical profession. She quickly learned that she wanted to somehow be working with individuals at more of a "heart" level. However, after studying more about the psychology field & its varied philosophies, she also knew this was not the direction she wanted to go. Although a valuable resource in its own right, its general approach & vision of the patient, did not ring true with her.
She did come to learn however, that the psychology field was beginning to embraced new resources of healing that moved beyond dependency of the conscious mind alone, to more integrative approaches that were benefiting individuals in a more whole-being fashion. Some of these include: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), TFT (Thought Field Therapy), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), RET (Rapid Eye Therapy) - to name a few.
D.D. was encouraged by the benefits of these resources. She came to learn more about some of these & how they were originating from a field of care called "Energy Work". D.D. loved how the overall approach & perception of the individual was more empowering & edifying in this field. However, most of these Energy Therapy modalities still did not feel right to her. Whether still holding to a "flawed" perception of the individual, requiring some complicated technique & time consuming process in order to "fix" the client, or based in other philosophies & beliefs that were not quite in harmony with truths that were the foundation of her life, D.D. knew that none of these were quite right for her to pursue formal training in.
D.D. has always lived her life by truth. She has always had a strong sense of where & from Whom she came. It was so very important to her that what she chose to study & offer to another, was in harmony with her beliefs & the truths she knew in her heart. Although she was very drawn to this field, there was something still missing.
Then, one day, through a very graceful sequence of events, she came across something called "Calyco Healing". Immediately, before she even knew all the details about this Energy Work modality, she knew this was the course she was to follow.
She completed formal training & certification in both Level 1 & Level 2 of this modality a short time later & has been enjoying the gifts this resource brings to her own life, her family, her clients & their loved ones, since that time. Built on core fundamental truths, this resource has proven to be pure, as well as profoundly efficient in healing & enhancing lives.
 D.D. has always had a deep sense that individuals do not need to be "fixed". "In fact," D.D. says, " the issue lies not in "what's wrong with you", but in "what's right with you" that remains undiscovered, unacknowledged & simply unlived. This music being as close & natural to you as is your own heartbeat. The most beautiful part about it all, is that the beauty begins to naturally unfold the moment you realize this."
D.D. has always known that any remedial resource she was to offer would simply be a means to support one in this purpose. By utilizing a resources as pure & simple, yet comprehensive as Calyco Healing, one is assisted by literally cleaning up that which we all seem to carry at one time or another, in one form or another, that blurs ones perceptions, discolors their experiences or limits their ability to progress. In doing so, one is enabled to literally experience their truth for themselves. Bringing this "music" from more than just a cognitive level understanding, to a direct & personal whole-being feeling experience that lasts, & naturally assists one in functioning in their daily lives at this more clear & authentic state. One is truly honored as they are efficiently supported in finally taking care of what needs to be taken care of & getting on with living a life of joy, progression & beautiful contribution.
D.D.'s further training & experience in providing direct support for individuals learning about the revealing science of our beings basic chemistry, & how the natural movement of these elements are uniquely expressed in each individual, called "Energy Profiling", has also proven to be a valuable asset & supportive additional understanding in working with her clients & in her roles as a wife & mother.
 D.D. says that her most impactful learning, valuable training & greatest joys come from within the walls of her own home. She & her husband of over 12 years - both from large families of their own that mean the world to them - have 7 beautiful children. Each a unique "treasure" that they cherish. She considers her roles as a wife & mother to be her "most important, rewarding & sacred callings".
To live truth in your own life & see its beautiful fruits blessing you & those you hold dear, is what this is all about. Living truth brings a peace, a fulfillment & joy to our lives that we can not experience any other way. D.D. considers it one of her greatest blessings to assist others in this endeavor.
